Join me for a taster session for the complete beginner to bookbinding.
We will start gently by making a small book with simple materials found in the recycling bin, It’s a fabulous creative way to use up your card recycling and a great fun no pressure introduction to the basics. After that we will move onto your first simple handstitched notebook, I will provide lots of beautiful quality papers to choose from for the cover to your hand stitched notebook . These delightful and unique notebooks can be given as gifts to loved ones or you can use them for sketchbooks or list keeping, as I do myself.
All materials provided and you will leave with at least 3 handmade books.
What do I need to bring?
Just your enthusiasm for learning this relaxing and fulfilling craft. All materials and instruction will be provided. Please note, we will be using sharp tools during this class. Refreshments will be provided or are available for you to buy (venue-dependent).
